The Market Access Certification Requirements of Different Countries

Hong Kong: Safety of Hong Kong is voluntary certification for lighting product. The factory needs to cooperate with the preparation of samples, technical documents (eg. Label, user manual, CDF, critical components…), and cooperate with the factory inspection. If the product has a plug, it needs to meet BS 1363.
 
(Application channel: TÜV Rheinland, Period: about 2 weeks)


Taiwan: BSMI is a compulsory certification. The factory needs to cooperate with the preparation of samples, technical documents (eg. Label, user manual, CDF, critical components…). If the product has a plug, it needs to meet CNS 15767-1.
 
(Application channel: TÜV Rheinland or Local Qualified Laboratory, Period: about 8-12 weeks)


Indonesia: SNI is a compulsory certification. The factory needs to cooperate with the preparation of samples, technical documents (eg. Label, user manual, CDF, critical components…), and cooperate with the factory inspection. If the product has a plug, it needs to meet CNS 15767-1.
 
(Application channel: TÜV Rheinland or Local Qualified Laboratory, Period: about 5-6 months)


Malaysia: SIRIM is a compulsory certification. The factory needs to cooperate with the preparation of samples, technical documents (eg. Label, user manual, CDF, critical components…), and cooperate with the factory inspection. If the product has a plug, it needs to meet CNS 15767-1.
